  • Company details, VAT information and car registration number - if you fill out our showroom appointment form.

How do we store your Personal Information and keep it safe?

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access, we have put in place physical, electronic and managerial procedures to ensure the information we collect online is kept safe.

User login: where you have chosen a password which enables you to access certain parts of our website, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you to choose an effective, secure password and not to share your password with anyone or to re-use a password that you have used elsewhere.

Website encryption: the website uses HTTPS, which encrypts data in transit using SSL/TLS protocols. We also utilise server (AWS Security Group) and 3rd party firewall (Imunify360) to protect the website against common website attacks. Magento will temporarily disable accounts if it detects unusual sign in activity. We have also implemented reCAPTCHA on the site to prevent automated bots from engaging with the site.

Server location: all platform and ForestOne servers are located in Australia.

We recommend only connecting to secure wireless networks that you trust to reduce the risk of unauthorised people intercepting
your online activity. Beware of the risks of using public WIFI.

 

Overseas relocation of Personal Information

All the data that we collect from or about you is primarily processed within, and stored at, on secure servers located in Australia. For the purpose of issuing our newsletter, your email address may be processed and stored in other countries which are in compliance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988.

Marketing

No information you share via our website is used for Marketing purposes. However, if you do attend one of our showroom events and decide to share your information, we will add you to our newsletter as well.
